California Leash Company at the Teen Choice Awards Huntington Beach, CA (September 2, 2009) - On August 8-9 CLC President Amber Ozinga mingled with the stars in the Backstage Creations Celebrity Retreat room at the '09 Teen Choice Awards in Los Angeles. She was there promoting the Beach handbag line. Stars Jordin Sparks, Abigail Breslin, Emily Osment, and Jordana Brewster were among the many who playfully posed for publicity photos with the designer handbags.
Twilight star Nikki Reed told Amber "I love this stuff. I always go to the beach and could totally use this." She requested a Malibu make-up clutch and said, "this is perfect for make-up. Celebrities had their pick of three popular styles in several different prints. Britney Spears snagged two bags while cruising the room with her sons. One of the bags she picked was our popular Sand Dollar Diaper in Black Hawaiian Floral print. The other was our Palm Beach Tote in Flower Power. Many took home the Sand Dollar Beach bags
while Ashley Green opted for the Santa Monica Beach bag.
The weekend of publicity resulted in event segments on The Insider, KIIS FM with Ryan Seacrest, Lifetime, Fanpop, Entertainment Hollywood, GoshTV, Hollywood Today and several Twilight fan websites. CLC was also featured in Us Weekly's online contest giveaway for selected goodies from the Teen Choice Awards. This was a great weekend for CLC.
